I have a Igaging speedmic and a origin caliper. I'm trying to read the data off the SPC jack, but Igaging won't confirm the data output. They claimed it was the same as mitutoyo (52 bit), but it's not. Anyone familiar with the output specifications? I built an arduino / mitutoyo interface a few years back, so this is not unknown territory for me, just a new format.

Here is the pinout for the mitutoyo. Can anyone confirm it is, or is not the same on the Igaging?FA8FQJ0H1YOJF1L.jpg

Do you make enough of one part with employees or automation doing the work to merit SPC tracking?
Just asking.

He's the one that won't give me the spec ......

"It is a 3rd party item, so we r not be able to share information."

i would email your pix and question here: "William@InPrecisionTool.com"
he's the go to guy at iGaging in sunny Calif. . .

I have a similar issue with the iGaging Absolute Origin DRO scales. I call William and found that I knew more about the scales than he did. I tried to get him to put me in contact with his supplier to try and get some information with no success. Have been trying to hack the protocol used, but no luck so far.
