How do you lift big stuff in your shop?

I like the contraption Keith Fenner made and uses a lot.
His shop is really crowded but it seems to work perfectly fine.
 
So what do you think the reaction would be on the Firemen answering that call? "911, what's your emergency?" "We have a Cougar/Lynx/Puma/Jaguar/Bobcat, etc. in a tree".

We did that for engineering week when I was in University. It was around the trunk, so they had to cut it apart to get it down.
