I need to make a slitting saw holder to for my milling machine for the screws I have made it well go in a .500 r8 holder Brett :-*

Sounds like a plan.

If you need help, we will need more input though, inside and outside diameter of blade, whether keyed etc.

My slitting saw arbour was bought from KBC and has the R8 shank, a series of spring loaded bushings so it will handle a variety of slitting saws.

I got some from and the hole in it is the frist ones hole is .383 next is .255 and they are mm. so how do I build it. Brett

got it done and it worked out the 2 I made I made more but those did not work right. Tested it on my mill and no run out Brett

Quick tip: If you leave a 0.002-0.005 on the registration face, clamp up a turning tool in a vise on the mill table and skim that ace while the arbor is in the collet. It will be about as true as it will get. If you're really fussy, mark an index mark on the collet to put it back close to where you faced it.
