Hi Folks,

The T-Nuts which come with the QCTPs are always oversize and have to be milled down to size.

Everyone has their own way of doing this.

The question is, from beginning to end, from measuring the dimensions in your compound to making the nut, what steps did you take? Thanks,

Nelson

I bought 2 QCTP's. AXA and BXA. At the time I did not own a mill, so I measured my compound and made up a drawing like Ed did.
I took both plates and the drawing over to a local (real) machine shop, and had them cut them for me. Easy! ;)

After they raped me on the price of milling the 2 small plates to size, I decided right then and there I HAD to have a mill of my own.
Ordered it the following week.... :)
