HF 8x12 lathe - need half nuts

Hi - I just found my HF 8x12 Lathe has the half nut threads all chewy up. Who carries those ? Spoke with Little Machine Shop, but they seem to only have half nuts for the 7x10-12. Trying to get in touch with LatheMaster. Any other sources ?

these's a instruction post somewhere here on making them from derelin (sp) or whatever its called. it looks to be very easy if the shape of the outside of the nuts would make it possible. . .
