Hf 7x10 Tailstock

I need a tailstock for a 7 x 10 HF mini lathe. Really only need the main casting and the v-groove base plate. I want to build something. --- John

Thanks for the link. I had checked out the LMS catalog, that I have, with no luck. Never did check the web site.

I have to call the parts department at HF on Monday. They did stock the small lower part last year, when I ordered it for another project ($1.50). If they have the large upper part, I may get the best price. If not, I will go with LMS. Thanks again. --- John

I called the HF parts department and they do not stock the tailstock casting as a replacement part. You can special order it from China, but it will take 8 to 12 weeks to receive it. In the long run, the 2 parts from LMS, will cost me an extra $20.00, but I do not have to wait 2 to 3 months to get them. I went ahead and placed the order last night, so I am good to go, on finding the tailstock parts. ---- John
