Heavy 10" reversing gears

I need to replace the reversing gears (some call them twin gears) on my heavy 10. I figured that would be a nice project to cut some new gears, and I have another project that would require some gear cutting also. From what I can figure, the reversing gears and every gear that engages them are 18 pitch, while every gear under them are 16 pitch. Can anyone confirm this? Or am I just better off finding some new gears.....anyone have a source?

There's a guy on ebay that makes new reversing gears, they look nice. My lathe has some gear noise and I thought of replacing these just to see if it would quiet it down at all. Mine is not super noisey but there is some gear noise, couldn't hurt.
