Hi All,
This is a long shot.
I'm beginning a process of gentle restoration and mild upgrade on my 20" Faircut lathe. It's already in pretty good condition, but the original cast gunmetal guards for the headstock gears were removed by a previous owner. I write in the hope of finding a kindly fellow owner who'd be willing to remove them, and get them scanned. I know that certain Asda stores now have 3D scanning & printing facilities, so this may not in fact be a complete logistical nightmare; and I am of course more than willing to pay any incurred costs.
Any help would be much appreciated.
