HAND ME DOWN GERSTNER BOX

MY DAD STARTED HIS TOOL & DIE APPRENTICESHIP WITH IBM IN 1952 .

THEY ISSUED HIM A NEW GERSTNER BOX FULL OF TOOLS TO
GET HIM STARTED OFF IN HIS NEW CAREER .

ALL MY LIFE I HAVE ADMIRED THIS BOX AND HOPED THAT ONE DAY IT WOULD BE MINE .
THE BOX CHANGED HANDS TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 65 YEARS .

I HAVE TWO OTHER LARGER GERSTNERs BUT THIS ONE WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE .

ONE OF A FEW MICROCARS THAT I OWN .
