sounds italian, one came up on CL in Chico / oroville, CA $300. Any one have experience with them
Said motor replaced with low speed ?
Just wondering

I've heard of them , and saw pictures, but no other first hand experience. From the picture it looked to be well made but model I don't know either. If they make many sizes may be worth checking out for that money I sure would.

If I had room I would be all over that one. Looks a bit rusty in spots, but worth the price. Looks like about a 16x30 or so.

the seller claims that the lathe has a low RPM motor, and is not fully functional
i'd snatch it for 300 and buy or make whatever it needs
but i'm hardly the voice of reason:grin big:

You're not over there yet? ;) You're a lot closer than I am.

They had one at the local CC. Yup, Italian. It wasn't fully functional though IIRC, threading gearbox or apron issues, or both, I forget, couldn't get parts. Only metric threading too I believe. Looked to be a nice lathe. Be sure to check if everything works & if parts are available.

Sag 12. Nominal 12" swing, but actually bigger. Talvare on H-M is a friend and has a nice Sag 14. Gorgeous machine. I would take it over any Hardinge or Monarch.
