Hi,
We're clearing out an in-laws cellar and have a Gorton PI-2 8″ x 18″ Pantograph
available at no cost to a lucky person who can pick up in Brooklyn, NY.
If anyone knows a nonprofit or makers space that could use it that would be ideal.
It's partially disassembled but was working recently. Could be used for parts too.
Sorry we can't ship.

For what it's worth, I am the happy owner of a P1-2 and it's my favorite machine in the shop. Gortons are built like a tank (a high-precision tank).

Manual engravers are antiquated technology these days for commercial use, but they are incredibly handy for all sorts of engraving, profiling, and light milling work in a hobby shop. Sure hope this one finds a new home.

@Bklyn-machines - you might consider reaching out to the folks at this makerspace near you: https://www.makerspace.nyc/

I've already sent them the link to this thread so now it is up to one of you to reach out and see if there is any interest.

You might also post at Vintage Machinery or Old Wood Working Machines.
They are sister sites.
You'd likely need to obtain one of their free memberships in order to post anything.

OP here. We found someone to take the Pantograph.
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions.
