I am fortunate to be going on an Elk Hunt in Colorado this fall. My cousin is a guide there, and has graciously offered a special hunt for myself, my 2 brothers and another cousin.
I would like to make him something as a thank you that he can use in his guiding business, or just in hunting.
Does anyone have a neat, fairly simple, home made tool, accessory, or other wiget pertaining to hunting, guns, camping, guiding that I can make in my hobby machine shop? Trip is in late October.
I cannot weld, so the very nice bench rest is out, unless it can be altered to bolt together.
I have seen projects like a laser boresighting tool made from a dollar store laser pointer, but have not seen them in the stores lately, and don’t know if they are useable/reliable.
Suggestions please?
