I've had a couple of GasGas trials bikes. Could never ride them like the people I saw when a round of the Worlds Trials Championship was held in Duluth MN for a few years but there isn't a whole lot of people who can ride bikes like that.
Utterly, stupendously amazing the things they could do on those bikes!!!
I had a TY250 Yamaha and I was far from a real trials rider I did learn a few things that would make the regular dirt bike riders stop and take notice. I could stop on steep slope, look around and then resume climbing the slope. Jaws were dropping all around:allgood:
I have two 500cc road bikes. An Honda '81 CX500c and a Yamaha XS500. I notice that the Yamaha has a whole lot less low end torque and requires a whole lot more throttle or clutch control to get moving without stalling it.
I'm guessing that the flywheel here adds low end torque. Am I correct?
