G0602 And A Vfd

Do you have your upgrade complete? I would love to see some pictures of your build. I am looking into the same setup, when I have the funds that is.

I just set up my new G0602 and performed the recommended break according to the manual.
I noticed the belts are extremely tight and I had a difficult time switching to the different speeds.
I also noticed what I consider a lot of belt "dust" so I put a straight edge on one pulley to another and they are off by about 1/16". For optimum performance, they should run true.
I hope the belt "dust" is just new belts wearing in.
Any thoughts?

dont sweat it , that isnt all that far off for a belt , and the belts do loosen up quite a bit once they wear in .

i do recommend buying a spare set of belts ,... i use my g0602 quite a bit more then most . and it loves belts .
with daily use i get about 3 months out of a belt before it needs changed .

I bought the link belt and set it up today.
I like the results so far.
