I needed to use my follow rest for the first time Saturday, So I check the parts list to see what bolts it took.

It called for a 3/8 bolt and a flat washer the slots in the follow rest were 1/2 and I figured with the 3/8 bolt it mite move a little sci I made some new ones.

I made them so the the wrench that fits the carriage lock and the taper attachment would work on them.

Also wanted them to look like they were original.

Sweet!

It's nice that you made them to fit the tool post/carriage lock wrench. Who needs extra wrenches laying around on the machinery?

Thats the way to do it!
Nothing better than making your own, I bet the fit is as good as factory.
Much better than having yet more wrenches laying around.
Good Job

The factory just called for a 3/8 bolt and flat washer so I guess these are better.

Thanks for the comments.
