This is a cool little project that had a lot of little steps to it, but I completed it today. There is another small part that I don't have pictures of that holds the insert in place. Just thought you guys would like to see it! As well as my office space.

-What types of situations have you guys found is best for this type of cutter to be used? (those who have used it)

You should be able to use it as a single flute face mill. I use one for fly cutting and creating ledges. With only a single insert it uses very little horsepower so you can take pretty good cuts with it. Nice job!

So it's basically like a roughing endmill , for facing instead? Can I take .100 deep cuts with 1018 CRS with it?

I don't think it will go 0.100". Maybe half that. Give it a try and see, Justin.

First of all that’s neat looking tool, great job on the machine work. Second because of the design of the tool your depth of cut is limited, from the photo I’d guess . 050 max. Your limbo the clearance under the insert
