First Steam Engine!

Very nice, how did you make to side to side valve cam? Makes a nice feature of interest.

Thanks again, all! The instructions on the link I posted above provides all the details (it is not just drawings- it has text describing how to fabricate the different items.) This was a great learning experience. One of the things I learned is that brazing is not easy. My results are functional, but ugly. I was using Mapp gas and I don't think it had enough umphh to heat the material up enough to get good flow (even though it was dull red at the peak). Like I said, it is functional, but there are some gaps where the cylinder meets the valve body. I think a portable oxy-acetylene torch kit may be in my future.
