so I've had a lathe and a mill for about 6-7 years only using it from time to time to make parts for my motorcycle, wheel spacers axles handle grips foot pegs blah blah. I decided in December to spend my Christmas bonus on tooling to start "gunsmithing". This is my latest for my 12 year old son. It's chambered in 6.5x47 on a 700 action. The barrel is a 20" Christianson arms carbon fiber job. I've read mixed reviews on them I couldn't be happier with mine. This would be my 4th build but my favorite being a labor of love for my son.

Shadow opps, Kool looking rifle I bet he loves it and it stays in the family for generations. Nice job . It's the gunsmith who builds a piece of art.
