Experiences in Holland/Europe

We hardly know what cold weather is here, and snow is quite rare, however it can get hot, a year or so back, we had a 120 deg day, far cry from Canada, (my mom lived there when quite young), Edmonton Alberta had a 75 below zero back in the 1960s!.
