BACK WHEN I HAD A JOB , WE USED A SET OF DUMONT KEYWAY BROACHES .
WE USED THEM TO PUT KEYS IN SOME OF THE GEARS , PULLEYS AND SPROCKETS WE MADE .
I ALWAYS LOVED USING THEM .

SO NOW THAT I HAVE MY OWN SHOP , I WANTED MY OWN SET & I GOT TWO !
ONE IS A #10 + #10A COMBO SET AND THE OTHER IS A #70 METRIC SET .

I ALREADY HAVE A GEAR JOB IN THE WORKS THAT NEEDS SOME METRIC KEYS
FOR A 30mm SHAFT . THIS IS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE .

I GOT THESE SETS IN LIKE NEW CONDITION BUT FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST .

Nice find and both are good sets to have.
I picked up the #10 set at an Auction for $50
I have used the heck out of it and wouldn't mind getting a set of Metric ones, but the cost is ridiculous for a new set.

As I've been unwilling to pay market prices I've been buying broaches as needed and making collars and shims.
I'm hoping to learn how to do this with a shaper and or slotter.

Me too. It has beenmy experience that buying a finished bushing and modifying it has been of benefit to me, rather than starting from scratch.
