Drummond Model B lathe

This lathe has a 3" self centring chuck made by

Cushman chuck company. Hartford Conn.

Has anyone heard of this company ?

Really sweet looking lathe John. That's almost too pretty for me to actually use - maybe sit it on the coffee table and look at it. :biggrin: Well, until the wife came home anyway. :p

That is a nice looking machine. Looks like a jewelers lathe, scaled up. Has good form.
 
Yes that's a beauty . It is earlier than mine . The leadscrew is inside the bed I believe .

Nice job on polishing the various bits n pieces .

BTW there is a drummond lathe group on Yahoo groups
