DRO

What would be a decent DRO, with out breaking the bank, that I could use on my Maximat V10 with the mill attachment? I'd like to be able to hook one up that would allow me to use it on both the lathe and the mill attachment.

A lot of the fellows are using the DRO Pro's and have been very happy with the kit that they send. Give em a call and explain what you want and they will custom configure a kit if necessary, otherwise they can ship from stock most of the time. Hope this helps

Another option is to go with the iGaging type scales (similar to digital calipers). I'm not a fan of them as they have limited functions but they are a great inexpensive way to add a basic DRO to most any machine. I also highly recommend DROPros. If you are familiar with what you need & want to save some money, I highly recommend ebay seller xiao1207. He's in China & offers great support & communication. That's who I get my DRO stuff from.
