I have a quick question, what gear ratio do i need, so i don't need two hands pressing to drill a hole, i have 16,5 sm travel and selection of two gears, 12 tooth 35 mm diameter and 15 tooth 45 mm diameter, will this be enough gear reduction or should i look for a smaller gear ?

FWIW, My drill press feeds about 4" (100mm) /rev. of the crank and my mill/drill feeds about 3" (75mm)/rev.

Your 12 tooth gear will feed 110mm/rev. and the 15 tooth, about 140mm/rev.
