Good info, thanks. I have 2 decent lathes but neither can do threads. Got a little sherline and then just recently got a 15" SB, but it's missing the QC gears and new gears are pretty hard to come by. The mill is a pretty impressive beast for sure! I actually wound up with 3 of these, plan is to go through all 3, convert them to modern PC controls and then sell 2 of them. So far I've gotten most of the way done with the first one.... we'll see how long it takes to actually get around to the other 2. Problem is none of them came with tooling and the small amount of tooling that I have fits the little sherline so it's not that useful. More projects!
