Dovetail column vs small knee mill

Have a look at Grizzly's G0704.....really popular mill and it is pretty competitively priced. Dovetail column. Many would discourage the round column mill you're looking at...especially at that price point.

Hi all, the chester is a mid sized mill,and covered the machining of the corliss castings pretty well, although there were some tight set ups.

the Wee cowells is a brilliant machine, costly but very well worth the money. as can be seen it is a very small Precision knee mill, and built like a tank.
