Disassemble A Live Center

[ELHEAD]

Bearing is rough. Would like to take it apart and check it out. SturdiMatic #2 The whole head rotates on the MT shank. I am at a loss as to how this thing goes together. Any input would be appreciated.

Try putting the tang in a vise, then use a brass hammer, or other soft metal shaft against the head to tap and work it free. Could put it in the tail stock, of it holds tight and do the same.
