Here is one of my plain hunting knives I made about a year ago. 0-1 steel, stainless guard, whitetail handle.

what a fantastic looking blade, i love the traditional style with the staghorn handle. excellent work!

Very accurate grinding and a very nice blade shape. I also see a very accurate fitting of the hilt and decorative spacers to the handle.. An ideal blade for dressing deer. Great work!!! Aesthetics are really nice!!!

Is your name on the knife?

Beautiful,

Do you sell these? Do you have a website.

I am more partial to non traditional handles but that is fantastic workmanship.

Did you start out with a pre formed blank or did you make it from bar stock.

Yes, my name is engraved on the blade. I use a small manual Hermes pantograph to engrave my name. It has a small diamond stylus.
Thanks for the comments

I start with barstock and do all my work by hand.
I do have a website, www.gainesknives.com
