Custom Bicycle

Yes it's in the rear hub. BLDC. I've seen them on various websites, but at the moment can't recall a specific one. Google should work.

Ebay is a Good source, front and rear applications. Do a search for front or rear wheel electric kits, youll get lots of hits. The full kits are nice unless you have a source for all the different components.

Wow didn't know there were so many kits out there like that, can even get a two wheel drive bike.

Interesting

I think the range varies to the amount of batteries you use and the type, somewhere in the 30-50 mile range is about right though.

Done!

Fun as hell to ride!

It looks like fun!
That key switch and volt meter are fantastic. :encourage:
If I were closer I'd pay you for a 5 minute rental.

Nice ride! I recently upgraded a Razor MX500 to 48 volts. Stuck a bicycle spedometer on it, got it up to about 25 mph. I never thought of making one with a gear train...

You are a source of inspiration!
