I have a King CT 14x40 G metal lathe that I am learning on.

I noticed there are a lot of different brands of lathes that seem very similar, such as Birmingham, Cantek, Grizzly, Jet, Enco, etc.

I would like to know if there are any parts available for my machine should I ever need them, and there is a part or 2 I would like to get now as well.

thanks

here it is if anyone want to help identify. I know King is only a Canadian brand...
I would like to get a thread dial with the correct number of teeth which I believe is 16 teeth, not 15 like the one I have, which doesn't work.

Just bought a similar used lathe, a King Canada CT-1440B - I reached out to King Canada and they provided a badly translated old english manual for this machine. Will be in the process of located it my basement and setting it up. Yours looks very clean, like the idea of leveling feet from iron plate.

The lathe looks very much like my Shenwai SW900B, albeit a bit lager than the 1236 package.

does your leadscrew have a metric pitch?
