Compound graduations

For cutting threads, I made a tool to set the 29.5º angle. Setup is less than a minute, including unfastening/refastening the six compound clamps.

Oh ok thanks. The protractor sounds the easiest. Since I'm lousy in math also. But how could I set it on the machine since the compound is rounded on the base. The tapers don't need to be super accurate since I'm just making cannons to give family members.

Try this product for cutting any angle on the lathe. I made my own, but you can buy the lathe sine bar from tangent engineering.
Here's mine.https://www.hobby-machinist.com/threads/what-job-did-you-do-today-in-your-shop.1186/page-27#post-1041418
Here's one you could buy.
