Compass/Dividers

Good Starrett Yankee, Odd leg, firm joint, etc.. are on Ebay all the time for very low prices.
I've purchased all of mine, Starrett, some very expensive, for very low prices, $15-$30.
Check Ebay. B&S, Lufkin, Starrett. The Starrett are strong and don't bend or break.

The first calipers I bought were imports from India, for about $10 for a set of three. Amazingly, they work fine. Since them I buy them when I can find nice ones cheap, or get them as part of a tool lot. The nice old Starrett, Lufkin, Browne & Sharp, Barlow, General, and others I have, some perhaps from the 1800's, cost less than the ones from India. Grab them while you can, they aren't making any more beautiful and useful antiques...

Anyone seen a compass that's made to mount a Sharpie Ultra Fine marker?

Ken
