Clausing model 8000 oil ports

Refurbishing a Clausing model 8000 apron and cross slide. Upon getting the unit apart I discovered that some of the oil ports have felt in them. I didn't see any reference to these in manual however felt pad was listed once in the parts. Clausing doesn't sell the part. Does anyone have any more information on these? Where might a person purchase the correct product to replace them?

McMaster Carr sells sheet felt in various thicknesses and hardness, you can punch out rounds or cut shapes with a razor knife or scalpel.

You could also buy one or two of the Atlas felts for the spindle oil cups or for the bed oilers from Clausing (whichever use most closely matches your use) and then buy that density felt somewhere.

I use the felt coasters that you put on the bottom of chairs. I shave off the sticky tape with a razor blade and then cut to shape.
