My rotary welding table has a 10" top. What size chuck would be good for it? It has 4 slots, so that I will be looking for a 4 bolt front mount, if I can find one, any other suggestions?

Bigger is probably better to accommodate a larger diameter part and a 4J independent may be desirable for odd size parts. I was looking at the chuck below for my lathe, but opted to save my pennies. It is a 4 bolt pattern for mounting. I have a combination superdex rotary table and on the 8" table I mounted an 8" 4J independent chuck, it also has a direct mount 6" scroll. At around 130 lbs, a bit of a bear to move.

Does not ship to Hawaii, I'll look for something similar.

A bit ironic, seems many sellers do not ship to HI, but will ship to other countries in the world. Go figure.
