i was making some delrin spacers yesterday for a small meat grinder.
i made an arbor from a 3/4" pvc slip fitting to make facing and parting cuts.
here is the video of the facing operation.

UD, excellent job again! I had to also make some Delrin washers about 6 months ago. They had a tight tolerance of a few tenths for parallel and flatness. Tried several methods that all failed until I used a vacuum chuck to get the material flat, parallel and to size on the mill. Then I put the hole in it on the lathe for the last step…Dave.

That's a great way to make a super-cheap and sacrificial arbor.
I must remember that.

Now, I'm not the safety police, but.......
I see you did NOT leave the key in the chuck long after you took your hand off it, you are programmed to not leave it there and that's good.
However, I have to bust you on one thing......NO SAFETY GLASSES!
Sure you're just turning plastic, but eyes are not fixable.
Be careful out there!
