CCGT with PCD coating (Poly – Crystalline – Diamond)

I used these recently on some cast steel with a fly cutter, and the finish was exceptional. Haven't turned anything with them yet, soon though.

So I put these to the test today on some aluminum and some 4140. Although they left a great finish, the chip breaking on them is horrible, at any depth of cut. That being said, I'll buy these again.

I have to find the sweet rpm for the breaker to work, and depending on the DOC.
