I need to make a number of parts that are threaded internally and I'm considering using carbide tooling. A right hand boring/ threading bar uses an IR AG60 insert, but I want to run my machine backwards so as not to crash the tool or part. So I need a left hand tool but the geometry of the insert will not work in the left hand tool, I'm looking for a left hand insert but come across ER AG60 in the size/style that I need. It looks as if it will work. The way the insert sits in the holder rotates it 120 degrees clockwise putting the tool point on the front left corner of the holder. Maybe I'm right maybe not any help would be appreciated. Inserts can be so costly!

Kd4gij nailed it!!!! Mesa tools rock, if you call em you can talk with owner, tell him what you are trying to do, they can set you up. Great folks, good prices, fast shipping
