I’ve been stir crazy. I got a new lathe a 6 months ago. I built some spiders and extension rods. My last lathe had a 16” head stock and Victor has a 24”. I’ve been chomping at the bit to actually use it. I won an el cheapo R700 in 243 at a trap shoot a few years ago. The poor rifle has just sat in a box. I came across a good deal bartlein 1-7.5 3B in 6mm. My dad had a laminated stock. So I’m all in about 400 bucks counting reamer and a Timney trigger. All I gotta do now is do some fitting, make some pillars and get her bedded.
