Ball turner for Jet 10x24

Ok, I had a piece of long 1/4 inch HSS so that is what I ground, Not sure I did it right have to see if I can find some videos to watch, but go the ball turned down and it does not look to bad. I may need to make a better rest as well.
 
Anybody but me see the ring on his hand right up to the chuck . Just me I guess but call him lefty minus one. Love YouTube but hate bad SAFTEY habits.
