Atlas lathe 101-28990 spindle bearing pressed on?

I have the above Atlas lathe, new to me and I am the second owner. I am taking it apart to clean, etc. and found the rear timken spindle bearing needs replaced (oiler plugged up-no oil in bearing). My question: Is the front spindle bearing pressed on? I have read and watched videos about taking the head stock apart but no one seems to do anything with the front bearing.

It is a light press fit. If you don't have a press you can still get it off ok.

kd4gij You were exactly right on. Considering I had to use a large hammer and a block of wood to drive the spindle out (lot of old grime and burs) but after cleaning and wire brushing the spindle, I just warmed the bearing and with a large punch all I had to do is tap in off the shaft. Thanks very much.
