Atlas craftsman 101-07383 traverse gear housing

I need a traverse gear housing for atlas/craftsman 12 by 36 lathe model no 101-07383 mine is broken

Ebay is probably your best bet for that item- and be patient, Atlas parts tend to come around in waves- feast or famine so to speak

I picked one up for my 10 Atlas from MyMachineShop.net Joel Rogers phone 269 683 7786. This was a few years back ,but I think he is still in business. The nice thing was the replacement was aluminum not zmac. Good luck with the repair

As mentioned, you can get one from Joel - that he machines and lists on Ebay. Or you can get one direct from Clausing. Or, if you want to machine one for yourself, I can send you a set of 2 and 3-D Fusion 360 drawings.

I believe the part number is 10F-11. So if you search "atlas craftsman 10F-11" you can find all your options.

And in case that you missed the point, the 10F and several of the lighter model 12" all use the same part.
