I spent a few days stripping the lathe down and glass beading as much as possible.
Machined areas were taped off to protect them. 2 coats of court gray paint and ready to reassemble.
Finished product. I’ll pick up the carriage traverse gear assembly from the post office tomorrow morning and get that installed then all I need is the piece of brass I ordered to make a gib for the back side of the carriage.
