i have cried the bitter tears of loss myself , for a couple machines over the years.

i do have a new finding, the serial number!!!!!

it was under the cross slide.
when i finally moved the cross slide that was frozen, the serial number appeared as my magic!
another small piece of the puzzle has been found!!!
