Another auction Clausing lathe 5907

I'm watching an auction for another shop closing that includes a Clausing 5907 lathe. Can anyone tell me how the chuck mounts to the spindle, cam-lock or giant thread? Also, can this be set up to use 5C collets in a proper chuck? Thanks!

Spindle mount is a L-00 taper key mount, so as long as you can get a back plate there are different chuck options. Either standard 5C chuck mounted to a back plate, through the spindle mount with a 5C nose using a 4.5 MT to 5C adapter, or a PBA hand wheel type are options. Attached brochure gives more specific details on the 5900 series.
