The blue part clams on the other part , I'm thinking stock., OR ?

If you save them for a project that will require sliders, you'll never use them.
If you cut them up for stock you'll later find a project the sliders would have been perfect for...

About rite, for me Edd. There's a bunch I'm saving lots of them for ?

hmmmmm.........how about:
-one heavy-duty grinder rest with a table that slide left/right
-frames for a homemade 3D printer, or router?
-maybe a jig (or sliding table) for a table saw
-put a threaded rod thru with a clamp pad on one end and handle on the other and have some very heavy adjustable clamps
-adjustable stops for cut-off saw

maybe 400 pounds of it won't be enough!
-brino

I know save about half, and use the others as needed. Thank you Solomon.
