After you shine up your handwheels, finger knobs, and levers, how do you keep them from rusting or getting dull again?

Do you use Duracoat? Oil (from hands or lube)? Bees or car wax? Starrett M-1 Spray Lubricant?

Thanks!

Best,

Nelson

I use the $1.88 spray lube from wallymart. I spray mine in the summer quite a bit because my hands are always sweaty and my lathe is in my damp basement. When i was working for weeks at a time and new i wouldn't use my lathe i would spray it down pretty good. I also spray my extra lathe chucks then ruin another shirt when i use them LOL Stand to the right...Bob
