Accu-rite absolute zero II

I have an older dro on my Bridgeport. I just bought this mill. All the rubber on the scales is broken. Apparently accu-rite discounted a lot of their products. Does anyone know if there are universal rubber seals for these scales, or does anyone know about this dro specifically and have a solution for the scale rubber lip seals?

My next solution is to 3D print a flat plastic cover out of pla, or a flexible tpu cover that copies the lip seal channel. Anybody have any input on this?
