6 inch Kurt vise

Answered an ad for a 6 inch Kurt vise,while I wasn't looking for one,I couldn't turn it down.
75 dollars and an hours drive later its mine.
Only a couple minor mistakes on it.
Once cleaned up it will join my 4 inch Kurt in the shop andTroyke rotary.
I may not use it as much as the 4 inch but now if I need it,I have it.
Started putting together the shop in my new garage 2 years ago and it gets closer to being what I envisioned with each acquisition.

Yes it is,the Kurt logo is lightly stamped on it.

Pulling it apart to start cleaning it up.
The rust was only superficial no pitting.So far so good.

Nice! You can order a "rebuild kit" from Kurt for about 20-30 bucks, and get all new thrust washers/bearings, the half sphere for the angle lock, etc,, May as well, while its apart.
