3-jaw chuck

Scruffy here with another dumb question

Are 3-jaw chuck jaws reversiblble?

They look like they should but the scroll and grooves on back of jaw aren't right?

Am I missing something ?

For the most part, no. 6" and up you can get a chuck with 2 pice jaws witch you flip around.That is what I have.

The 3 jaw chucks with one piece jaws have specific ID and OD jaw sets. Take one set out and put the other set in.

Got to looking in the box of stuff that came with Logan #2 and low and behold another set of jaws!!!

They fit!!
