1986 Hdt Gs-6/2 6" Tool Grinder

Hello Again!
i just picked up this vintage, reversible ,1/2 hp ,115vac, 3600 rpm, twin diamond wheeled tool grinder from an estate sale.
it came complete with protractor type tool support, removable coolant drip & catching trays, graduated miter protractor guides, adjustable lamp, 2 - 6" diamond wheels (1 wheel is 360 grit, 1 wheel is 150 grit) and a custom built heavy duty stand to boot!
it runs very smoothly.
here's some pictures!

i took it for a short test run against a broken ,brazed carbide lathe bit.
it takes almost 3 minutes to stop spinning after power has been shut off!
i couldn't have asked for a better grinder, the price was right, too

That is beautiful! I love the huge tables, accessible from both sides, and reversible motor. To think of how good it would look next to my lathe...

I’ll bet you thought that was the end of the thread and you escaped the proverbial “YOU SUCK”…nope!
That was at an estate sale? That’s way out of norm. Are you hiding all the other stuff you got there from us and the other half?...Dave
