OK, that not quite what I was looking for, but its close enough ... can you hold it for 6 months, and can you load it in my F150?? ;D ;D

Geeesh!! I'd get a kick out of watching one of those monsters work -- I DID say "watch" The tool bit is prolly bigger'n my lathe!

Dang, that would be perfect for making 1:1 "scale" steam engines or better yet, cannons, big cannons. 8)

Did you see the lathe at the Norfolk shipyards? There was a show about the construction of the last carrier and the machines used to build it. They showed the lathe used to turn the prop shafts. Only one left and no replacements for it. I believe they said 60 FEET between centers.
